Campfire Cooking (Grade 3 – up) – Join us to discover some of the amazing foods that you can create while cooking with fire! Make sure you come hungry for this class!
Candle Making (Grade 3 – up) – Take your crafting and creativity to this class. We will be making homemade candles where you can choose your own color and scents! Each youth will be able to take home a candle.
Leathercraft – Use tools and mallets to create your very own leathercraft masterpiece. Participants will be shown a basic demonstration on how to use the tools, and then can choose between a keychain, coaster, bookmark, or wristband to take home.
Outdoor Treasurer Hunt – Use map orienteering skills to locate the scattered puzzle pieces and solve a nature riddle.
Sledding – Let’s go sledding! Join other 4-H members for a fun time on the sledding hill.
Snow globes – Using a mason jar we will create snow globes.
Snow snakes – Snow snakes are a traditional Haudenosaunee winter game. We will make and decorate our snow snake and play the snow snake game.
Soap Making – We will be making goat milk soap from a melt and pour soap base. We will also talk about all the fantastic benefits of using goat milk in body products.
If weather is not favorable for the sledding a backup activity will be provided for those sessions.
