Cost: $5.00 per member.  Includes all 3 sessions.  Money will be collected day of the event.

Sessions: Each session will be 1 hour long and members will pick one activity per session.  Youth can sign up for one session, two sessions, or all three sessions.  Cost will be the same whether the youth choose one or three sessions.  All sessions are open to kindergarten and up.

Session 1 – 9:00 – 10:00 AM

Beginning Printmaking – Together we will learn and explore the art of monotype prints. Printmaking is the process of making images that can be transferred onto other surfaces. We will use food coloring, shaving cream, and acrylic paints to create individual works of art. Plan to get messy and bring a paint smock.

Let’s Get Herby! – Grow your own herbs for your favorite recipes!

Hamburger and Hot Dog Edible Cookies – Let’s have some fun and create hamburger and hot dogs that are edible cookies! We will use “sweet” ingredients to create these fun cookies.

Session 2 – 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Up-cycling for the birds– Learn about song birds and ‘up-cycle’ a plastic bottle into a bird feeder to benefit the birds in your backyard.

Fairy Garden Fun! – Let your imagination run wild as you create your very own fairy garden.
